  • www.tips-fb.com The Fat Lady is Singing...

    Wednesday, March 31, 2010
    The fat lady is singing,
    foretold a same melody,
    for the thousandth time...

    The fat lady is singing,
of sorrow, of love, of the reality of life...

Did you hear her astounding voice,
    piercing through the very soul,
    of people who never hear...

The fat lady is singing again,
and again, her voice fade away,
    through the darkness of cruelty,
    hoping that people would understand.

    www.tips-fb.com The Coincidence

    Tuesday, March 30, 2010
I always stumble upon things which I would label as coincidence. Like a sequence of event. When I make a plan, coincidently, a sequence of event would happen, and it make my choice easier.

I believe, this is the Fate, the believe of the Higher Power would always has the plan for you. God never let you down, even when the going get tough, along the way, if you believe, thing would kinda sort out. The way would be laid upon you to stride through.

No matter how humble you feel, pray and believe that God would answer your prayer.

    www.tips-fb.com My BDay

    Monday, March 29, 2010
Our birthday is a very significant day because it mark our existence into this world. My family never celebrate birthday before because we were poor, furthermore, no one care about celebrating it. As we grow older, went to school, mixed with other people, we slowly absorb this trend of celebrating birthday.

For me, a birthday wish on my birthday already makes me happy. It show that people care for you. Even the simple gesture of wishing people happy birthday will make their day. Lots of my friend been wishing me Happy Birthday this year. I am so thankful that I still have friend that remember me.

So my birthday celebration, on that Friday night, we went for movie. And on Saturday, my sister came down from Malacca to go picnic at Sungai Congkak with me and my hubby. We have "kepak ayam bakar", "Ikan bakar" and my sister cook "nasi lemak". Altho its simple and only four of us adult plus my two little niece and nephew, it was nice. The water was so cooling and refreshing.

Then on Sunday, my husband bake me a cake. Thanks Darling for you effort of making me happy.

    I love you so much!

www.tips-fb.com Moon Rainbow vs Moon Ring

    Thursday, March 25, 2010
I was watching Kamen Rider Kabuto, Disk 2, in an Episode where Kagami finally changed to Kamen Rider Gatack. In the episode, Kagami met a young boy who is actually a worm. The boy said that his dream was to see a "Moon Rainbow" because those who get to see it, would be blessed with happiness.
My first thought was.. OMG, I seen this incident before, but then again, I was wrong, the Moon Rainbow, also known as Moonbow is a rainbow created by the Moonlight, instead of sunray.

Moon rainbows are always in the opposite part of the sky from the Moon and most easily viewed when the Moon is nearly full

They are relatively rare because they need a number of conditions to appear. The Moon must be less than 42 degrees high in the sky, the sky must be very dark and there must be rain falling opposite the Moon. Moon bows are more common near waterfalls.

The incident that I saw years ago is not a Moonbow, but is called Moon Ring.

That night was so clear, with the sky decorated by thousand of stars and a full moon. It was a spectacular sight. As long as I could remember, I always like stars. I used to have  a sketch book, where I would put a chair outside, sit, and draw the stars. Trying to get what it represent, a scorpio, aries, "biduk", finding where is north, it kinda hobby of mine.

Well back to the moon ring, as I look upon the sky that night, I was surprise to see a rainbow ring around the moon. I never know that it is possible at that time. And the rainbow look so vivid. It really is a  remakable sight. A whitish glow from the moon and surround by seven colours of rainbow. Oh how I wish I had a camera at that time. This happen a long time ago, if I am not mistaken, aroung 8-10 years ago. But the memory, is as fresh as a minty taste after you drink a mint tea.

The moon ring are caused by the refraction of light through ice crystals suspended in the upper atmosphere.

The moon ring look like something like this.

I do wish to see it again ....

www.tips-fb.com Why we didn't always get what we want?

    Wednesday, March 24, 2010
The answer to that cliché question deserve a cliché answer.

We always want something that we could not get, if we actually manage to obtain it somehow, we realize that we no longer desire it.

So to approach the life positively...

Actually we always get whatever we give.. thats means, if we want a fruitful life, we must certainly approach it passionately.

    Yes! Life is great!

Rezeki di bumi Tuhan ini ada di mana2!

    www.tips-fb.com Earth Hour

The Earth Hour is here again. Let us all participate.

    How to participate?

Just switch all all the light at 8.30pm until 9.30pm on Saturday, 27 March 2010, this include your car light also, so it would do you well if u don't drive at that time :D

    Why participate?

Do you feel how hot is the weather nowadays? The soak with sweat shirt each time you go out for lunch? We need to cool earth down a bit. Don't you think?

Quote from the Earth Hour webpage

Earth Hour has done a lot to raise awareness of climate change issues. But there’s more to it than switching off lights for one hour once a year. It’s all about giving people a voice on the future of our planet and working together to create a sustainable low carbon future for our planet.

So let us all join hand and switch off our light to show our support towards mother nature.

    www.tips-fb.com 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010 (18-21March 2010)

    Monday, March 22, 2010
We went there on Saturday, 20th March. Of course our intention is to take a ride on the big ballon, but unfortunately, the queue is very long, and the sun is blistering hot, knowing how unpatient and hot tempered I would be if we wait on the long queue, we canceled the plan and just snoop around, taking some pictures. Now I know that KL people do wake up early also. :P

    The Carnivals.

Sea of people. Look at the queues, I don't know which is the line..

The gas tank that was use to heat up the balloon.

A very pretty sight indeed. Two of the five balloon afloat at that moment.

Zeppeline and ?? hehe Don't know. Another two balloons.

The balloon gave a spectacular sight under the clear blue sky, however, if only there's more balloon and more pretty shapes afloat .. well, its not everyday you got to see one, so I'm happy :)

www.tips-fb.com Makanan Arab (Al Baraka Restaurant, Cyberjaya)

    Monday, March 15, 2010
Last Sunday, my darling suddenly has the craving to have arabic food. So he took me to one of the Arab Cafe near Uniten, only to find it closed. A bit frustrated, then we decided to go to Alamanda. On the way there, he asked me to check the GPS for any nearby Arab Restaurant, and one restaurant popped up from the list. The Al-Baraka Restauran at Cyberjaya.

Based on the GPS, we easily located the Restaurant which sat in the new NeOCyberjaya, if I am not mistaken at Jalan Cyberjaya 2. The restaurant is facing the main road, along with several others Arab like store.

So I ordered the Kabsah Lamb and he ordered the Mandy Lab. The price is RM13++ is I am not mistaken. The rice taste so sweet and has a nice fragrant. Thanks to the "bunga cengkih" cloves. The different between the Kabsah and Mandy is the rice. One is more yellowish, but taste quite same, for my tongue.

The lamb was tender and juicy. One thing that I don't like about it is the lack of spiciness. If they provide a sambal belacan, then it would be perfect. However, then it would not be so Arabic, rite? :) For people who love spicy food like me, I wouldn't recommend it. Or you could bring your own cili padi to really enjoy the food :P.

Kabsah Lamb + Mandy Lamb + Ice lemon tea + Mountain Dew =  rm33.

I do took some picture of it. I'll upload it later.

www.tips-fb.com Masked Rider Kabuto Part 2

    Friday, March 12, 2010
I was free enough to wiki this :)

The story revolves around a man named Soji Tendo. He has trained seven years while waiting for the Kabuto Zecter so that he may properly take up the name of Kamen Rider Kabuto. Making many enemies while at the same time meeting other Riders with mysterious origins of how they got there, Tendo attempts to accomplish his goal at all costs: destroying all Worms that otherwise threaten humanity. He meets Arata Kagami, who later becomes Kamen Rider Gatack, the two work together to save humanity from the alien Worms that arrived from a meteorite seven years ago.

Zecters (ゼクター Zekutā?), also known as the Masked Rider System (マスクドライダーシステム Masukudo Raidā Shisutemu?), are a compilation of mobile systems that affect space/time. They were created by the Natives, a species of Worm that arrived on Earth 35 years ago. These Natives in turn gave the Zecters to humans so that they may protect them from alien Worms that would arrive later. The Zecters appear instantaneously from the ZECT headquarters to the selected personnel so that they may transform into the respective Rider to fight any Worms in the vicinity. Each Rider (except for the Hopper Riders and the Movie-exclusive Riders) possessed two forms such as the bulky armored cocoon-like Masked Form (マスクドフォーム Masukudo Fōmu?) and the sleeker Rider Form (ライダーフォーム Raidā Fōmu?)which can use the Clock Up (クロックアップ Kurokku Appu?), a system that allows the Rider to move at high speed. They also have the ZECTroopers to help them.
There are eight known Zecters within the Kamen Rider System, each allowing the user to become a different Rider.
There also exist two other Zecters known as the Perfect Zecter and the Hyper Zecter. The Perfect Zecter serves as a primary weapon while the Hyper Zecter is a power-up device that enhances the powers of the original Zecter. Both were only used by Kabuto in the series, but Gattack got to use the Hyper Zecter in the Hyper Battle DVD.

    www.tips-fb.com Nasi Ayam Penyet Again

Located at Sunway Pyramid, LG2 floor, in Marakesh , is the Restaurant Ayam Penyet.

This time I try the Penyet Set @RM13.90. But instead of having ayam penyet, I tried Lele Peyet, which is the catfish. It was fried to a perfectly crunchy while maintaing the Catfish flavoour, I eat it all except for the bones and head part :). The Set also come with a Sayur Assem Soup and a glass of Lime Juice/ Ice Lemon Tea.

Picture below are taken from my poor 2nd handphone. Yes, image quality really bad, and I really need to buy me a new phone. I miss my long companion Nokia N73, because this phone is really worst than the N73. Wait till I save up enuff money to buy a smartphone.

    www.tips-fb.com Masked Rider Kabuto

I know. Sometime I do entertain the childish part of me. To be exact, I still love cartoons, I like sweets and candy, I like to pretend to be someone else like a princess, and I do act foolishly when I am alone in the room. :p

To satisfy that side of me, yesterday I bought the Masked Rider Kabuto DVD. I have been searching for the complete set of it for quite some times and was so happy to have finally found it, and to have budget to bought it, alas.

What so great about Mask Rider Kabuto compare to the other Masked Rider. First, I like the fact that he is very handsome :), he is a great cook, his sister is actually a worm and he has to save and protect her, the action was really cool, the outfit is awesome, and he can travel thru time dimension.

I watched the series on TV but I missed most of the part. I don't even know how its end. That's why I really need to buy the DVD.

I know what would be the activity for this weeken. Masked Rider Kabuto , of course. Layan!!!!

    www.tips-fb.com Alas, Alice in Wonderland

    Wednesday, March 10, 2010

I have heard and seen the trailer from last year. The hype about it and of course, wanting to see my beloved actor, Johnny Depp and his most compatible partner, Helena Bonham Carter together again. And of course, I like Tim Burton movie. Yes and yes, I am more than excited. To see them in 3D is like dream come true. Although I vaguely remember the story, I am always a fan of Alice. I remember seeing the cartoon and a series of Alice in Wonderland when I was small.

Even when my husband suddenly caught with high fever and my office mate going to Kalumpang for the Office Getaway, I really dont want to waste the tixs that I have bought 1 week early.

As keen and eager as I am, excited and nervous at the same time, I was rather disappointed by the movie. After seeing the Avatar in 3D, I am expecting Alice to be so real, and beautiful, but the scene doesn't really popped up like I imagine it to be. And the pale looking Alice,is really "The Wrong Alice" after all. There's no cute factor or any boldness to be sense through the appearance and acting.

I am not saying that it is so bad. (one of my friend fall asleep in the cinema.. LOL) I do manage to enjoy the movie to the very last, but it just doesn't go over my expectation.

Usually, Depp would be a scene stealer, but I could not sense that at all, it seem like he is drown somewhere in the movie. His "mad hatterness" seem to be lacking of something. But he is adorable as always. At least I could sense how much affection he has towards Alice. And Helena, as the Red Queen, I think she carried her part well, but still I feel like there's some sort of aura missing. I didn't quite get why or what.

This I have to say. I love to see the White Queen character. She's really funny. She really acted like a kid pretended to be a queen. and that some how make me feels..well... funny!! "I gave my solemn vow not to hurt any living things" or something like that. :D and I love the Tweedle twin also, Tweedle Doo and Tweedle Dee. Just love the phrase coming out from their mouth.

And being an Alice movie, altho not much, but you can still hear the funny and clever phrases being mutter along the story. Because of that, I still manage to enjoy the movie. I just love languages.

Oh well, not what I was hoping for, but I would still give it 3.5 stars. Juz because it has Johnny and Helena and Anne and because I love Alice Story.

www.tips-fb.com Odd Sequence of Passing Time

It has been rather odd to have such a wasted day when you are not working. Weekend would have been rather splendid, watching a movie and might as well spending time in Damansara. It has been very long time since I go there, almost 2 years already, but that isn't what happen. My poor darling was suffering from a high fever. Don't know what is the cause of it? Could it be from our heated argument the day before.

At first, I am a bit angry. The reason for him being sick instead of me, seem really unfair. Now after what we go through the day before, instead of he pampering the poor little ol' me, I had to be pampering him. But , yes, poor him, I feel kinda guilty. Is he falling sick because of me?

After going to the hospital, and the Doctor gave him an  injection and an IV Drip. His temperature go down a bit, and he managed to drag himself to accompany me to the movie. I already bought the ticket, and it would be such a waste to get it wasted like that. After movie, we when home. He still has fever.

On Sunday, at 3am, I have to take him to the hospital again, the temperature has climb up again. The doctor check for his blood, afraid if he has dengue (luckily its a negative), and he has another pint of IV Drip. and at 6.00am I sent him to the ERL station, because he has to catch a flight to Kelantan, of course, still having fever, but the flight ticket already been paid, and he cannot change the ticket to his colleague name to go there on his behalf.

After sending him, I came home feeling really tired and went to sleep. I woke up at 9am and already feeling too tired to go to work, when I look at the mirror that morning, one of my eyes has turned red. Later that evening, I went to the Clinic and the doctor has gave me a two day sick leave. Which I spent being lock up in my room and sleep.

Now my eyes are okay, and my darling is getting better. I hope this weekend would be more exciting than the last one.

ooo... how the time always leave us feeling sorry for not able to use it wisely.

    www.tips-fb.com Lunch @Lemon, Mines

    Friday, March 05, 2010
Today lunch at Lemon, Mines with Jazz and Sha. This is what we have.

I order the Black Bean Beef lunch set @ RM9.90. Also include is small glass of ice lemon tea, and one scoop of strawberry flavoured ice cream.

Sha have this at the same price as me. Tofu with scramble egg set, also include one small glass of ice lemon tea and one scoop of strawberry flavoured ice cream.

Because Jazz still feel full, she ordered the Kantonis Keow Teow @rm7.00 a plate I think. :)

The price is a bit high for me I think, but the food was really nice, or it is because I am starving. Hahaks.. anyway, this is a nice place to eat, if you have that extra cash. At least, the food is worth the money you spent, IMAO.

Lemon is located at the lowest level(is it G or LG?? *confuse), near the San Francisso Pizza, in Mines Shopping Fair, in case any of you wanna go try the food. :) I definitely return, the lunch set is affordable, but I wanna try the ala carte order. They look really yummy, but that has to wait till my pocket is thick again.

While I was waiting for my turn at the GSC ticketing lane, I heard a father sang this nursery rhyme to his baby. It just so sweet! and make me SMILE :) BIG

Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
Now Itsy Bitsy spider went up the spout again!

    www.tips-fb.com Blast

I have the tendency to relate my happiness with food and of course a good movie. Believe it or not, this two thing is the immediate remedies for whatever trouble that I think I have to endure. Ironically, it'a also lead to bad consequences; the decrease amount of money I have in bank, and the increase amount of fat in my body. Don't you think that it's kinda funny.

Okay, on Thursday nite, because Friday already already a public holiday, we spent the nite watching the Big Little Soldier. The movie is quite okay, so was the audience. After the movie, we finally went to Restaurant UK stand for Urat Ketin. Excuse me because I didn't know what it's called in English. We order the Soup and Fried Rice. The fried rice just average standard, but I do admit that I love the soup, because of the spiciness. I love spicy food. It's perfect. Later, got home, feeling tired and full, and have a good night sleep.

The next day, nothing much. We just went shopping, buying a lot of cans drink. From Tesco, to Mines, then to Alamanda, to catch another movie, The Wolfman. Seriously, I did not have any complaint on the Movie. I love the effect and also the settings. Its feel like dejavu, like watching Sleepy Hollow all over again, but what really get on my nerve is the people. We really have a bad seating that nite. Being VERY particular about where we sit in a movie, I already thought we have the best seat in the house, third row from the back and in the middle. I better make this into a new paragraph.

I was sitting next to a couple of LOSER. Pity them that they didn't go to the MANNER'S school  to learn about how to mind your manner in the cinema. Maybe they are so morons to understand that there are other people in the cinema, whom, very much just wanted to enjoy the movie. I am not talking about a French kissing, or PDA, that is another story, but the NON STOP chattering, come on la people, if you dunno how to shut up, rent a DVD, or buy a pirated one, and save us the trouble of hearing your conversation, watch it in the comfort of your home. This red-coloured t-shirt couple, even they talk (maybe in their opinion) in a low voice, but come on lah.. its the cinema, when everyone quiet and only you chatters, of course I could hear every words you mumbling, stupid asshole. To make the matter worst, my husband also sitting next to bunch of stupid assholes. The guy wanted to act super macho for laughing at no reason at all. And the girls is soooo gedik. These morons also talk all the way thru the movie. Even when we already give hint how annoying they are, these moron being as moron as they are, didn't understand. And they complaint that the movie is bad. How are you possibly enjoy the movie if you keep on talking, asshole. And if the movie is bad, please get lost and save other people the trouble of hearing you complaint. If any of you are a movie goer, you could understand how disturbing is this people. If you don't like movie, please don't watch it. and if you do watch, keep you pipe hole shut, at least until the end of the movie.

Okay enough talking about this moron, after the movie, feeling really disgusted by these people, we went home .

On Saturday, we decided to go to Pavillion to watch a movie there. We watch the From Paris With Love. I have to admit that I really enjoy the movie. John Travolta, altho is bald and old, he is super cool. The one man action is so, so amazing. I like when he fight single handedly with a bunch of french people. And then how he talks. The script is hillarious. It atleast cover up for what happen the other nite, The people who watch in Pavillion also are all cool. Everyone knows the M word.

From Pavillion, we walk to Sg Wang, Low Yat, Times Square and back. The nite life there is beautiful. The only things that didn't add up is the hot weather. Even at nite, it feel so suffocatingly warm. With crowds of people. *Sigh, I wish I live in cooler country. :)

We do fish spa, eat steamboat and my darl introduce me to Uhuhu ( a cheese cup) for The Loaf, Pavillion. My darl said that it belong to Tun Dr Mahathir. And the Uhuhu.. really is U-HU-HU- YUMMYLICIOUS!!! I bought Six Cup for RM15. One is RM2.80. We have a strawbery, blueberry, kiwi, lemon, chocolate and caramel flavour. I LOVE it all, except for Caramel. hehe, not something I like anyway.

Okay.. meeting time. BYe [from writing entry at work.. hahaa]
